I posted this in the drives section, but thought I'll post this here too as it may be a media problem. This has nothing to do with making a label. In fact, I haven't made a label in awhile since I just haven't had the need. But I am having issues reading data on LightScribe media.
If I try to use my Lightscribe media my
computer shows the media as being blank (actually, not everytime. But
maybe once in 25 tries will they work). But if I use the same disc in
another system everything shows up just fine. This is only happening
with Lightscribe media (Verbatim DVD+R 16X colored Lightscribe discs). Burning and using a standard writable disc is
perfectly fine. I am using the latest posted LightScribe software from
this site.
Here is the drive info using a utility I downloaded
from Pioneer:
F: Device Type: DVD/CD-Rom
Vendor ID: PIONEER
Product ID: DVR-113NP
Product Rev: 1.01
Vendor Info: 2008/01/29PIONEER
This is the latest firmware for this drive. It's been a long time since
I've actually used any LightScribe media so this is the first time I've
notice this.
