Hey, I brought a laptop today and I was wondering if the laptop has lightscribe on it?
The laptop can be seen below : http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5083211/Trail/searchtext>HP+LAPTOP.htm
Please reply back to this topic letting me know if this laptop has lightscribe or not...
Thanks.

Hi Adam !
All the Notebook PCs I've purchased have been HP & since HP Is the Parent Company of LightScribe it is highly probable that the system hardware includes an LS Drive.
To be certain, each drive tends to have the LS"swoosh" on the tray.
To be POSITIVE, pop the tray out & look near the hub - there must be a small block that has the LS Sensor.
The "Knowledge Base" under the "LightScribe Toolbox" (above) has a picture of this sensor [search for "sensor"].

From the HP website
Multiformat DVDRW/CD-RW drive with double-layer support - Create custom
DVDs, also supports LightScribe direct-disc labels using compatible
LightScribe media.
